Q: What materials do you use, and which is right for my surface?
A: Material selection depends on your substrate type, location, and expected traffic volume:

Thermoplastic: The industry standard for tarmac roads and external asphalt car parks. It is applied hot, extremely durable, and fast-setting.

Single & Two-Pack Epoxy/Acrylic Paints: Best suited for concrete, resin, or indoor warehouse floors that require chemical resistance and easy cleaning.

Cold Applied Plastic (MMA): An ultra-durable solution designed for high-wear environments, heavy footfall, or cold-temperature application.
Q: What are the drying and curing times for your different line marking materials, and how long before traffic can resume?
A: We keep operational downtime to a minimum:

Hot Thermoplastic: Sets within 1 to 5 minutes, allowing vehicular traffic almost immediately.

MMA Coatings: Fully cured and ready for traffic within 30 to 60 minutes.

Epoxy & Acrylic Paints: Touch-dry in 30 to 60 minutes, requiring 2 to 4 hours for light foot traffic and overnight curing for heavy forklift use.
Q: Do I need to prepare the area before your team arrives?
A: The surface needs to be completely clear of parked vehicles, machinery, skip bins, or heavy debris. On the day, our installation team handles surface sweeping, high-pressure blowing, and pre-treatments (such as priming bare concrete or using thermal drying lances on damp asphalt) prior to application.
Q: Can line marking be carried out in wet weather?
A: Thermoplastic and paint systems require a dry, moisture-free surface to form a full bond. While minor dampness can be dried out using specialised gas lances, heavy rain will prevent application. We track local weather forecasts closely across the Southern region and will reschedule promptly if rain threatens the quality of the finish.
Q: Do you offer out-of-hours or weekend installation?
A: Yes. To ensure zero disruption to your daily operations—especially for busy commercial sites, active warehouses, or retail parks—we offer flexible evening, overnight, and weekend working hours.
Q: Do your line markings comply with official UK regulations?
A: Yes. All external road and car park markings comply with BS EN 1436 standards and TSRGD guidelines. Internal warehouse layouts and safety walkways are marked in accordance with current HSE Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare regulations.
Q: Can old or redundant line markings be removed?
A: Yes, we offer complete line removal and surface restoration using several methods:

Burning Off / Thermal Lance: Using specialized propane torches or thermal lances to rapidly heat and disintegrate thermoplastic or paint line markings from the asphalt surface.
